I've
been playing piano since I was very young; my mother says age 4...
She likes to exaggerate, so I think it was a year or two after that.
Anyway, in the intervening time, I've learned a good amount, despite
not having formal lessons in more than 10 years. The lack of formal
tutelage has shaped the way I play, in that I still can't "sight
read" (I can read music, however I can't just sit down and
play a new piece if handed music), however I can pick out fairly
complicated tunes by ear easily, and I can sit down and improvise
for hours without getting bored.

I have several pieces that I've created, and
am currently looking for some portable recording equipment that
be attached to a laptop, so I can record them with a good sounding
piano. |
