| I compiled this list
of french/english verbs in 2005 to help me study French. When printed
on two sides of a sheet of paper, I was able to fold it up and
take it with me anywhere for quick reference. This study sheet has been downloaded over 400,000 times!
Related Project: Accenter,
a simple software program I wrote which makes typing accented characters
really easy.
If you are using this list, or have any comments/questions/suggestions
about this project, please feel free to leave a comment using the

But why don't you give it a try? On 2007/09/27, Will said: If you could point me to a dictionary site with the french pronunciations in IPA, its doable. (its not as big a job as you might think with a little bit of creative programming) ;) On 2007/09/27, Will said: I added an IPA pronunciation chart for French to the list of pdf downloads. Hope that suffices. On 2007/10/04, Emily said: hey this is awewsome! just wondering how you actually came up with the list? On 2007/10/04, Will said: A few years ago, I 'borrowed' someone else's 300 or 400 French Verb List - reformatted it so it fit on a page, kept adding my own as I ran into them, and eventually added the highlights so I could find stuff faster. On 2007/10/07, Will said: Ok guys, I'd like to make this a list of 701 (has a better ring to it). If you could suggest a few verbs that aren't on the list (or that don't deserve to be) - after a few weeks or so I'll gather together the changes and update the PDFs.

Also I like that it is compact and fits on one page. This is a major plus for those of us with photographic-type memory. Don't know if you've made any other changes to it, but I definitely plan to indicate in my own list which of all the verbs are 100% reg. and which are irregular. That would be the only other thing I might change about it. This list will definitely give me the vocabulary of verbs I need without having to scrounge up each and every one by itself!!!! THANKS! On 2008/01/23, Will said: sky (or anyone else who is doing something similar), if you are able to put together a sub-list of all the regular/irregular, please email me...
